I was having a good old sniff of my perfume collection last night and suddenly realized that not only do I dislike two of them, but the others all smell too summery and light for the approaching winter months! So it is for this reason that a new perfume will definitely be my next purchase/ high on the letter to Santa!! I'm looking for something sweet, yet a little floral and young! I love some of the Benefit perfumes, along with Prada Candy and Viva La Juicy! Does anyone have any other suggestions that they like?? Some help would be much appreciated! All my love......The Gorgeously Beautiful Baker xxx

Balenciaga Florabotanica
I had a little sniff of this in Vogue's November issue (for this month only at the great price of £2!) and instantly fell in love! It's a refreshing floral scent that smells heavily of rose (which I love!) and it also has undertones of wild mint and spice- which keep the perfume from smelling to "Grannyish"! I also love the bottle's design of this which is modern and edgy, yet is still classy enough to sit on any lucky girl's dressing table. This will definitely be going on my Christmas list (sorry I know it's still too early to say that word!) Florabotanica is available in Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser and Boots (currently only online) from £40

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm
I absolutely love,
love, love this lip balm! It's definitely my all time favourite! It has quite a
strong minty scent (which I adore) and it does feel quite tingly on
application, which over time you get used to. The ingredients in this lip balm
(like all Burt's products) are also 100% natural, which is a big upside for me
as I am very into my natural cosmetics. I have also tried the Burt's Bee's
Honey lip balm and Pomegranate lip balm which are also lovely, though the
beeswax one has to be my favourite! This product is also available in a tin
(which is a lot better value for money as you get nearly double the amount of
balm for the same price!) however because this balm is quite waxy and solid it
is difficult to get out of the tin with your finger, so I prefer to go for the
slightly less economical tube! Burt's Bees products are available in a number
of retailers across the UK, but most commonly at: John Lewis/ Waitrose,
Debenhams and larger Boots stores. The lip balm is priced at £3.69.
Brogues Glorious Brogues!
Comfy and stylish, brogues are my
shoe of choice right now! My advice is invest in a good quality pair that'll
last you a long time, as they're a timeless piece and will never go out of
fashion! Pretty them up a la Miss Watson with a dress (you might need tights as
the winter months start to close in!) or go casual with jeans and a cardi like
Sienna Miller. However you want to style them, they are a great winter
alternative to boots and look great with almost anything! Here's a my pick
of the best brogues on the market right now!

No7 Nail Varnish
To start with, this nail varnish comes in a
wide range of colours (though the colour ranges do depend on the size Boots
store they are in) The formula is good- not too thick that its gloopy, but not
to thin that its too sheer in colour. I really like the brushes as they are
really wide which makes the application very easy (the brushes are similar to
Rimmel's Pro Lycra brushes) Two coats is all that's needed to reach full
coverage. However the big downfall on this product is its staying power. Once
dry the polish chips very quickly, but not only that it tends to peel at the
edges; which when this peeling edge is disrupted, will pull the whole lot of
varnish off the nail!! The polish stays put for about a day, which in my mind
is very poor. They are priced at £7 however, I have so many because when you
get a £5 off No7 voucher from Boots (these are handed out many times throughout
the year when any boots purchase is made) they are only £2, which I think is a
reasonable price for the product. No7 Nail Varnish is available at Boots stores
Nationwide for £7
Macaroons!
Here are some delicious pictures of
macaroons I had in France (I had to take some pics as they look so adorable)
They tasted delicious, but were pricey at 1 euro each! Why not make your own,
click the link below for a recipe, to amaze your friends and family with
some culinary beauties!

Revlon Just Bitten, Kissable Balm Stain
I really like the idea of having a balm in a
handy crayon shape, that has a lovely stain of colour......and this is exactly
what Revlon have delivered! It has a subtle minty scent to it which is
appealing (I often find lip products smell awful!) and a nice moisturizing plumping
feel when applied. The colour is a lot more pigmented on lips than when tested
on the hand- which for me was a downside as the colour I chose looked too dark
on my lips, as when I tested it in the shop it looked a lot more sheer-I have
the colour crush a bright berry colour! The staying power is fairly good, but
even after the moisturizing feel (that you get with any lip product) has gone;
you are still left with a pretty stain of colour. You can wear this in two
ways, either blot on top of lip balm for a more subtle stain, or apply
liberally for more dramatic colour. The Clinique Chubby Stick is a very similar
product on the market, though is more pricey at £16, however does come in a
brilliant 16 shades and was a Tatler Beauty Award Winner! All in all this is a
great product at a reasonable price and I would definitely recommend it.....
now I want to try all the colours! The Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain and Balm is
available at Boots and Superdrug for £7.99 there are 12 shades available.
