I really like the idea of having a balm in a
handy crayon shape, that has a lovely stain of colour......and this is exactly
what Revlon have delivered! It has a subtle minty scent to it which is
appealing (I often find lip products smell awful!) and a nice moisturizing plumping
feel when applied. The colour is a lot more pigmented on lips than when tested
on the hand- which for me was a downside as the colour I chose looked too dark
on my lips, as when I tested it in the shop it looked a lot more sheer-I have
the colour crush a bright berry colour! The staying power is fairly good, but
even after the moisturizing feel (that you get with any lip product) has gone;
you are still left with a pretty stain of colour. You can wear this in two
ways, either blot on top of lip balm for a more subtle stain, or apply
liberally for more dramatic colour. The Clinique Chubby Stick is a very similar
product on the market, though is more pricey at £16, however does come in a
brilliant 16 shades and was a Tatler Beauty Award Winner! All in all this is a
great product at a reasonable price and I would definitely recommend it.....
now I want to try all the colours! The Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain and Balm is
available at Boots and Superdrug for £7.99 there are 12 shades available.
